Underscoring its 25-year commitment to providing quality health care services at a reasonable cost, CDPHP® was ranked as the top-rated health plan in New York state, according to the recently released, U.S. News & World Report/NCQA America's Best Health Insurance Plans 2009-10* . Five CDPHP plans were among the top 25 health plans in the nation encompassing commercial, self-funded, and government programs populations across New York state.

 

"In light of all of the negative health care reform rhetoric, it is refreshing to be recognized for the hard work we do every day to ensure our members have access to high quality benefits, preventive care, and outstanding customer service," said John D. Scoring was based on several factors, including clinical quality, member satisfaction, and NCQA accreditation scores. The CDPHP plans cited among the nation's top plans in the report include: Commercial Plans Medicare Plans Medicaid Plans: "While CDPHP consistently ranks among the nation's best plans, it is even more satisfying this year as virtually all of our plans are recognized," said Bennett. "This further exemplifies how a regional, not-for-profit physician-based health plan like CDPHP is ideally equipped to offer a universal health care solution for all New Yorkers."
